I am delighted to welcome you to St Wilfrid’s school website. I am proud to be the Headteacher of a school where every child is valued and every member of staff has high expectations of themselves and our children.
I am passionate about raising standards for all of our children and providing them with the best education – one which will support, challenge and equip them with essential academic and social skills.
We take a holistic approach to education, focusing on developing the whole child with Christ at the centre of all we do. Every child is welcomed and valued as a unique member of God’s family. Together, we work to help our pupils reach their own individual potential within the warm, family atmosphere that makes our school so special. Our Catholic ethos focuses our expectations that our children are honest and respectful, care for others and work hard to develop skills which will allow them to achieve success now and in the future.
As a well-established school, we have welcomed families for generations, fostering deep connections between home, school, the community, and the parish.
We are blessed that our Parish Priest, Father Moses, visits us weekly. Furthermore, we are supported by an experienced Governing Body who guide our mission with expertise, ensuring only the very best for our children.
