The school has a compulsory school uniform policy for all the children in the school.
Our uniform consists of:
- School polo shirt (Red)
- Dark grey or black trousers or skirt
- School red sweatshirt/cardigan/jumper
- School red fleece jacket (Optional)
- Plain black shoes or trainers – NO LOGOS
Summer Uniform can also include:
- Red and white checked dress
- Dark grey or black shorts
The sweatshirts and the polo shirts are available from school, as well as school fleeces (optional). They are bright red with the school badge printed on them in blue. The school crest is not essential, so uniform bought elsewhere is fine.
Trainers with visible logos are not permitted as part of the school uniform.
Dress for P.E.
Parents are requested to equip their children with red or white T-shirts, blue shorts or dark tracksuit bottoms and pumps for P.E. and games lessons. Studs on football boots are not permitted. From September 2020 all children should come to school wearing their P.E. kit on any days when they are due to have a P.E. lesson. They will remain in their P.E. kit all day.
Jewellery and Hair Accessories
On grounds of health and safety we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school. The exception to this rule is ear-ring studs in pierced ears. We ask children to remove these during PE and games or to cover them with a plaster. Hair accessories should be simple and practical and, where possible, be in line with school colours e.g. red, black or white.
